Cunningham Memorial International Fellowship

Applications are now being sought for the Cunningham Memorial International Fellowship, sponsored by the Medical Library Association.

This fund supports a four-month program of observation and supervised work in one or more health sciences libraries in the US or Canada for a health sciences librarian from a country outside the US or Canada. The successful applicant must have a Master's level library degree and be prepared to work in a health sciences library in his or her own country upon completion of the scholarship.

The fund will pay a stipend of $6000 and approved travel expenses within the US and Canada up to $2000. Travel to and from the US and Canada must be paid by the fellow or the institution where the fellow is employed. Application must be received by December 1. The scheduled stay usually begins early in the year and extends through the MLA Annual Meeting in May.
